Executive Function Coach & Senior Year Mentor

What I Do: As an executive function coach and accountability partner, I work with seniors to develop the organizational systems, time management skills, and self-regulation strategies they need to successfully navigate their final year of high school while preparing for college independence.

Core Services:

  • System Development: Help students create personalized organizational frameworks for managing college applications, academic deadlines, and competing priorities
  • Accountability Partnership: Provide regular check-ins and progress tracking to ensure students follow through on commitments and stay on track with goals
  • Executive Function Training: Teach practical skills in planning, prioritizing, task initiation, time estimation, and self-monitoring
  • Stress Management Coaching: Guide students in developing healthy coping strategies for managing senior year pressure and decision-making anxiety
  • Transition Preparation: Support the development of independence skills and self-advocacy capabilities needed for college success

Why This Matters for Seniors: Senior year demands a level of executive functioning that goes beyond what students needed in previous years. They must simultaneously manage complex college application processes, maintain academic performance, make major life decisions, and begin transitioning toward adult independence—all while their parents naturally step back to encourage autonomy.

My Approach: Rather than managing tasks for students, I teach them to manage themselves. I provide the external structure and accountability that helps them develop internal systems and self-regulation skills. Students learn to break down overwhelming projects, estimate time accurately, prioritize effectively, and maintain motivation through challenging periods.

The Result: Students don't just survive senior year—they develop the executive function skills that will serve them throughout college and their careers. They learn to be proactive rather than reactive, confident rather than overwhelmed, and independent rather than dependent on external management.

This coaching relationship provides the guidance students need while preserving family relationships and preparing them for the independence they'll need in college.

Cost: Charged by the half hour. Cost of price listed is per hour.
